Appelt Aggieland Visitor Center
The Appelt Aggieland Visitor Center is your hub to visiting Texas A&M University’s beautiful 5,200-acre campus in College Station. Dubbed the friendliest college campus in the United States, Aggieland is a sprawling hub of residence halls, recreation centers, dining halls, administration buildings and, of course, classrooms, located right in the heart of the Brazos Valley.

The Visitor Center will be closed beginning at noon on December 23, 2025 for a university holiday.
Tours From the Howdy Crew
Students on the Howdy Crew provide on-campus guided tours to individuals and groups, virtual guided tours for individuals and an on-demand, 360° virtual tour of hot spots around campus. Our guided tours are led by members of our Howdy Crew and showcase Texas A&M’s unique and world-class resources.
Prospective students and their families can discover Texas A&M University’s unique history, traditions and academic opportunities on this 90-minute walking tour.
High school groups can explore Texas A&M University’s academics, student life, history and application process during this 90-minute in-person tour. Groups require a minimum of 10 students, with capacities for each session set separately.

The Appelt Aggieland Visitor Center provides tours between 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CT, Monday – Friday. Please note: Hours of operation for the Appelt Aggieland Visitor Center and tour times are subject to change.
